Lab Member Goes to the UK!

Our first Ph.D. student, Niar, was awarded an international research exchange at the Medical Research Council Centre for Medical Mycology (MRC CMM), University of Exeter, United Kingdom, from November to December 2025. Hosted in Professor Neil Gow’s laboratory, she received advanced training in medical mycology while expanding her expertise in fungal pathogenesis and antifungal resistance research. During her visit, she also had the opportunity to connect with researchers across the MRC CMM, fostering new collaborations and strengthening international research networks.
