First PhD Defense of NatPombubpa Lab

On 9 June 2026, Niar Ibrahim, the first Ph.D. student of the NatPombubpa Lab, successfully defended her doctoral dissertation after a three-hour oral examination.

This milestone marks the first Ph.D. graduation from our research group and reflects years of dedication, perseverance, and scientific achievement in environmental microbiology and medical mycology.
At the end of June, the lab celebrated this memorable achievement together with Dr. Nuttapon Pombubpa, Dr. Ariya Chindamporn, and Dr. Sita Virakul, recognizing the successful completion of this important academic journey.
