Prachuap Khiri Khan Sampling Trip – Season 2

On August 30–31, our lab conducted the second field sampling expedition to the beaches of Prachuap Khiri Khan, Thailand.

The expedition aimed to investigate the microbial diversity of coastal beach environments, with a particular focus on environmental microorganisms of potential public health importance.
The fieldwork was led by Niar, a Ph.D. student, as part of her doctoral research, with support from lab members Sotus, Fah, and Asana, together with Manato, an exchange student from Osaka University. The collected samples will contribute to ongoing studies on environmental microbiology and microbial ecology.
